It’s my job to know the newest trends. I advise people on current styles, up-and-coming trends and the latest color all the time.
What I also tell people is that none of that matters if you don’t like it. My most recent client has a style all her own. She likes every wall covered in art. She has eclectic pieces that range from Art Deco silver antiques to MCM upholstered pieces. She loves crystal chandeliers as well as Sputnik fixtures. She has picked up items in her travels, but she is also not above buying a large canvas art piece at the local Ross.
That’s what made putting her new home together so challenging but so much fun. It was a huge puzzle to put together and it took time and thoughtfulness, but in the end it is perfectly Marion!
