Custom cabinetry is not for everyone. In fact, it is not for many people, but if you cannot find what you want “off the rack” then having a professional furniture/cabinet maker build your piece may be the right choice for you.
That is the case with this custom-built cabinet my husband built for a client. They needed a large corner cabinet with doors that could accommodate stained glass panels they have had for years. This is a very specific need and required a custom piece. It also required hours of labor and painstakingly slow design and fabrication. Custom pieces are not made quickly and do not come cheap.
The learning here is: if the price is too good to be true, then it probably is too good to be true and you want to steer clear of that fabricator.
This is the finished product made out of cherry wood with interior lighting to backlight those beautiful stained glass panels!
