Well, it’s been a minute

Life got busy, and I got way off track. All my efforts to post consistently went right out the window and I couldn’t even tell you why. All I can do is apologize and hope I can pull my shit together in 2025 but it’s not looking good. I’m sure many of you can sympathize.

Anyway, this is a wrap-up of some of the projects we completed in the last quarter of 2024.

First up was a couple bathrooms in a beautiful 2-story historic house. The upstairs bathroom got an updated but traditional look. Clawfoot tub was saved, vanity was trashed. We had to level out the floor, (which was almost 3 inches out of level over 8 ft) install new LVT, paint, install new vanity, and new vintage-look chrome hardware on the tub (my favorite part).

Then we took a family trip to Italy! I won’t bore you with the 10 zillion pictures I took, suffice it to say, we loved Venice the best.

Once we were back, we started on the 2nd bath for our clients. This bathroom was downstairs and had been part of a renovation done way after the house was built. It was quirky and not functioning at its best. We took down walls, expanded the area, installed new LVT, as well as a larger shower, new vanity, paint, and created 2 new entries.

There were a couple consults and our own kitchen project, and then we started in on a kitchen renovation in a small home with a large kitchen. It’s not quite done and when it’s complete I’ll post the final photos with all the details. There were a few changes to the design plan along the way but the final result was worth every change.

This year we hope to get our garage apartment built and that will take up a lot of my time. so as I said, making sure I post consistently will be a long-shot, but I’ll try. Wish me luck and Happy New Year! May all your projects go smoothly!

I consult, design, and remodel spaces that reflect the homeowner’s lifestyle and budget by getting the cost question out of the way and really listening to what my client wants and how much they have set aside for their project.
